first_imgBUCKSPORT — Adam Goode of Bangor took first in the 40th annual Tour du Lac 10-mile road race on Saturday.The Bangor state legislator won with a time of 54 minutes and 49 seconds, averaging a 5:29-minute mile pace.Mary Clapper Buck of Mechanicville, N.Y., placed first among the women in 1:13:43.Eighty-six runners finished the race, which circled Silver Lake and ended at the Bucksport Town Pool.This is placeholder textThis is placeholder textIn the men’s division, Matt Homich of Ellsworth finished second in 55:21, Erik McCarthy of Old Town took third (56:17), Ken Akiha of Orono took fourth (56:39) and Ian Fraser of Brewer took fifth (59:55).In the women’s division, Jasmine Fowler of Morrill took second (1:14:23), Heather Knowles of Brewer took third (1:14:53), Katherine Collins of Winterport took fourth (1:15:59) and Robin Clarke of Ellsworth took fifth (1:17:09).The records currently held by Louie Luchini (50:20) and Cassie Hintz (59:06) remain unbroken.Age group winners are listed below:FEMALE AGE 1-18: First — Arianna Geiser, 14, of Brewer (1:28:56).
