first_imgColton High School held onto the top spot in The Sun’s high school football rankings, defeating Yucaipa 66-0 on Friday night. This week the Yellowjackets have a more difficult test, taking on Redlands at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the University of Redlands. There was not much movement overall among the Top 10, with only Kaiser losing, dropping a 34-15 decision to La Sierra and coach Tony Barile, the former San Gorgonio coach. Kaiser slips to eighth in the rankings. The No. 2 through 7 teams in this week’s rankings all won. They were: No. 2-ranked Rancho Cucamonga (defeated Sunny Hills 24-14); No. 3 Chino (defeated Silverado 35-6); No. 4 Redlands East Valley (downed rival Redlands 27-12); No. 5 Chino (topped Ganesha 42-0); No. 6 Serrano (beat Victor Valley 24-7) and No. 7 Upland (pummeled Colony 66-7). 3.
