Man murdered in South Delhi

first_imgNew Delhi: A man was murdered in South Delhi’s Kotla Mubarakpur area, police said on Thursday. According to police, on August 28, a PCR call at about 8:19 pm was received at the police station regarding stabbing of a person at night shelter and drug de-addiction center in Bapu Park area.Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Parminder Singh stated that at the spot, it was learnt that a stabbing incident took place at about 7.30 pm in which one Manoj had sustained stab injuries and his family members have taken him to AIIMS trauma centre. The uncle of the deceased disclosed that in the afternoon, an altercation took place between Manoj and one Saheer inside night shelter over the dispute of theft of water motor,” police said. In the evening, accused Saheer again came to the night shelter and started stabbing Manoj and after that ran away from the spot. Both the deceased and alleged were known to each other. A case under appropriate sections of law has been registered. “Several teams have been deployed to apprehend Saheer,” police further added.last_img read more
